Chiasma takes her maiden victory

Three-year-old Chiasma, a full sister to Frankel and Noble Mission, claimed her first win in a Novice Fillies' race at Kempton yesterday (30th June).

Taken from the Thoroughbred Daily News, 1st July 2021:

Chiasma, the seventh foal out of the now-deceased broodmare supreme, Kind, was third on debut at Sandown on 23rd April and second at Goodwood on soft ground on 22nd May.

She started as the 2-1 second favourite with Frankie Dettori making the trip for the ride. Breaking professionally before being settled in third, the bay full-sister to
the legendary Frankel and the Gr.1 Champion Stakes-winning Noble Mission moved to the 5-6 market-leader Sea Sylph approaching the final furlong and soon
drew away to score with authority by two lengths.

Kind's Frankel was her second foal after the Gr.3 Lingfield Derby Trial winner Bullet Train, who became famous by association with the Warren Place great as he
assisted him in several of his remarkable exploits. Her third foal was Noble Mission, who also captured the Gr.1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud and Gr.1 Tattersalls Gold Cup, while her fifth was the Listed Cecil Frail Stakes and Listed Dick Poole Fillies Stakes winner and multiple group-placed Joyeuse (Oasis Dream). Chiasma is one of only three foals produced in the final 10 years of Kind's life along with a 2021 colt by Kingman.
