Classic winners

The European and US Classic races are among the most prestigious races in the world. Juddmonte has to date bred 27 European Classic winners and three US Classic winners.

Wince’s victory in the 1000 Guineas in 1999 completed Juddmonte’s achievement of breeding all five English Classic winners within a 10-year period. In 2004 when American Post won the French 2000 Guineas (the Poule d’Essai des Poulains), the Classics across the Channel were completed.

Current European stallions Frankel and Kingman were both Classic scorers – Frankel won the 2000 Guineas in 2011 by six lengths in a breathtaking renewal, and Kingman became Juddmonte’s first winner of the Irish 2000 Guineas in 2014.

In recent years, notable Classic victories include the track record-breaking win of Logician (by Frankel) in the 2019 St Leger, Enable’s English and Irish Oaks double in 2017, Siskin’s win in the 2020 Irish 2000 Guineas, Westover's emphatic victory in the 2022 Irish Derby and Chaldean's 2000 Guineas victory in 2023.
