Vesela broke her maiden as a two-year-old on only her second start in October of that year.
She was campaigned exclusively in Listed company in her three-year-old season and added two placed finishes in the Listed Abingdon Stakes and Upavon Fillies' Stakes over the course of the summer. Her first stakes win came in November of her three-year-old season in the valuable Listed Gillies Stakes at Doncaster. She cruised into contention halfway up the home straight and kept on well to win by three-quarters of a length.
Vesela is a half-sister Gr.2 winner and sire Showcasing and stakes-winning and Gr.3-placed Camacho (also a sire) and comes from the family of Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Prophecy.
