Okeechobee (GB)

Okeechobee began his career as a three-year-old, breaking his maiden on his second outing, in August 2022. He put together a string of three consecutive wins that year before taking on blacktype company at the beginning of his five-year-old season. Running in the Listed Magnolia Stakes at Kempton, Okeechobee put in a promising performance to claim the runner-up position behind Dubai Honour.

His next run saw him take on the Group 3 Gordon Richards Stakes at Sandown at the end of April. A powerful drive in the final furlong saw him overhaul race leader Israr and hold off late challenger Desert Hero for the win.
