Noon Star (USA)

b f Galileo - Midday ( Oasis Dream)

Date of birth:7th April 2018
Trained by:

Sir Michael Stoute

Noon Star was third on her debut run at Salisbury in September of her two-year-old year. She followed up with convincing win in a Nottingham maiden race in October before being put away for the season.

The beginning of her three-year-old season saw her earn TDN 'Rising Star' status after posting a two and a half-length winning margin in a fillies' novice stakes at Wetherby in April 2021, despite carrying a seven pound penalty. She was next seen in the Gr.3 Musidora Stakes at York's Dante meeting where she ran second to Snowfall (who subsequently won the Oaks, Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks).

Noon Star started 2022 with her first blacktype win in the Listed Nottinghamshire Oaks, settling well and then repelling a strong challenge from Runner-up Technique to win by a head.

Noon Star is a daughter of six-time Gr.1 winner Midday (Oasis Dream) - the only horse to win the Gr.1 Nassau Stakes three times - and a full sister to dual Group winner Midterm and stakes winner Mori.
