Flight Leader made his debut in September of his two-year-old season at ParisLongchamp. Although he did not make an impact in this first run, he soon followed up with his maiden win at Chantilly in mid-October with a length and three-quarter winning margin in a 9 furlong Conditions Race.
His next run was in April 2023 in the Group 3 Prix Noailles. A game run to the line saw him prevail in a blanket finish for his first blacktype success.
Flight Leader is the sixth of eight foals and one of four scorers produced by multiple stakes winner and Gr.1 placed Principal Role. Flight Leader is a half-brother to the as-yet unraced two-year-old colt Rickshaw and a weanling filly by Kingman.
