Final Gambit (USA)

Final Gambit raced only once as a juvenile, placing third in a Maiden Special Weight at Churchill Downs in November 2024.

He returned to the track in early January of this three-year-old year, this time placing second at Turfway Park. He went on to break his maiden over a mile at the same track six weeks later, with a last to first run that saw him finish two and a quarter lengths clear of the competition.

Following that performance he was stepped up in distance and grade to take on the Gr.3 Jeff Ruby Steaks again at Turfway Park. He again pulled off an impressive last to first run, this time finishing with three and a half lengths ahead of runner-up Flying Mohawk.
