Alocasia ran six times as a two-year-old. She was fifth on debut at Maisons-Laffitte in April and broke her maiden two races later with a decisive burst of speed taking her to a two-and-a-half-length victory in the Prix Pawneese at Saint-Cloud. Her next run saw her achieve a creditable second place in the Gr.3 Prix Six Perfections at Deauville. She followed this with her first stakes win in the Listed Prix Saraca at Maisons-Laffitte at the end of September.

Trainer Henri-François Devin said after the race: “She did not understand what was required in her first run but hasn’t run a bad race since. The form of her latest race was very good, with the winner going on to win the Prix du Calvados [Gr.2] and the third being unlucky in the Prix d’Aumale [Gr.3]. On form, she was entitled to run a big race and she did it very nicely.”

In 2020, the filly returned to the track with a second in the Gr.3 Prix Texanita, before taking her second Listed contest in the Prix Marchand d'Or the following month.
