Fulsome spearheads a successful weekend for three-year-olds

Fulsome (Into Mischief) claimed his third win in succession in the Gr.3 Matt Winn Stakes at Churchill Downs on Saturday (29th May).

Despite a slow break Fulsome raced handily and picked off his main rivals to win by a three and three-quarter length margin. Earlier on the same card, another Brad Cox trainee, three-year-old Snow House (Twirling Candy) registered his second win in succession in a hard fought allowance race.

Across the Atlantic another of current crop of Juddmonte three-year-olds also registered a good result. YesYes, a daughter of Shared Account and half-sister to two stakes horses in Sand Share and Pocket Square, broke her maiden on debut with a favourable run at Haydock on Friday (28th May) for Ralph Beckett.

On Sunday (30th May) Charlie Hills-trained four-year-old Tilsit came agonisingly close to victory in the Gr.1 Prix d'Ispahan at ParisLongchampwhere he was headed close to the line by eight-time Group winner Skaletti.
