Ardent becomes Frankel's latest blacktype winner

Homebred three-year-old filly Ardent finished her season in style with a three-quarter length winning margin in the Listed Prix Petite Etoile at Deauville today for her first stakes victory.

The André Fabre-trained Ardent was making her fifth start and now has three wins in total. She is the fifth foal and fourth winner out of multiple Group 1 winner Emollient (Empire Maker). She counts Group 2 Prix Malleret winner Raclette and Group performers Peace Charter and Licence as her siblings.

She is the 40th individual stakes winner this year for her sire Frankel.
