Another Group win for Better Together

Better Together (Oasis Dream) went back to the scene of her Gr.3 Prix Imprudence win to get back in the winner's enclosure in Saturday's Gr.3 Prix de Lieurey at Deauville.

Launched by Alexis Pouchin to take command approaching the furlong pole, the 11- 10 favourite outclassed her peers with closing splits of :10.67 and :11.14 to register a three and a half-length success from Relaxx.

"She's a filly that we had a high regard for in the Spring and we felt that 10 furlongs was going to be her optimum, but we got that wrong as she didn't quite get home in the Diane," Barry Mahon said.

He added: "Maybe something like the Sun Chariot could be for her, but Andre [Fabre] said he'll look at the book next week and let us know what he's thinking."
